CEN E-learning modules

CEN e-learning modules have been developed by NHS Scotland, National Managed Clinical Network (NMCN) for Children with Exceptional healthcare Needs (CEN) in partnership with the University of Stirling and assistance from parents, carers, children and practitioners.
Suitable for all professionals working with children with complex and exceptional healthcare needs across Health, Social Care and 3rd Sector. The modules include interactive activities and individuals are encouraged to complete a personal reflective journal.

Completed as a core set or undertaken individually, these modules will:
Allow individuals to examine a range of approaches to working effectively with children and young people with exceptional healthcare needs
Explore the knowledge and skills required to provide child-centred, outcome focused and evidence based support and interventions
Demonstrate understanding and knowledge of GIRFEC for children with exceptional healthcare needs
Demonstrate understanding of working effectively in partnership with children and families in a range of settings
